Privacy Policy

Last updated June 14, 2026

Circle is a private, visual-first communication app. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the control you have. We sell nothing and run no ads — your content is shared only with the circles you choose.

What we collect

  • Account: your display name, optional email, and @handle.
  • Content: the photos, videos, memes, AI images, reactions and comments you create or share into a circle.
  • Usage: which circles you’re in, what you’ve seen, and basic technical logs needed to run and secure the service.

How we use it

To operate Circle: deliver your memories to your circles, generate AI images you request, send sign-in links, process credit purchases, and keep the service safe. We do not use your private content to train AI models or sell it to anyone.

Who we share it with

We use a small set of processors strictly to run the product:

  • Vercel (hosting) & Neon (database)
  • Vercel Blob (media storage)
  • OpenAI (only the prompts you submit to AI Studio)
  • Stripe (payments — we never see your card number)
  • Resend (sign-in emails)
  • Giphy / Tenor (meme search you initiate)

We never sell your data.

Your choices & deletion

You can edit your profile any time and delete your account from Settings → Delete account. Deleting revokes your sessions and removes your account and personal content from active use; backups are purged on our standard retention schedule. Email hello@circle.photos for any data request.

Children

Circle isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.

Changes & contact

We’ll update this page if our practices change. Questions? Reach us at hello@circle.photos.
